Klay Thompson didn't hold back his thoughts on being snubbed for the list of NBA's 75th Anniversary Team, which was revealed on Thursday (October 21). The list, which is comprised of 76 players due to a tie situation, was chosen by 88 voters, including Michael Jordan and Stephen A. Smith.
After the list was released, Thompson took to Instagram to sound off, writing, "Maybe I’m just naive in my ability to play basketball, but in my head I’m top 75 all time." He then added on his Instagram Stories, "Woke up this AM, still pissed about this stupid ass list,” he wrote on his IG Stories. “Ga damn I can’t wait to hoop again. Sick of the disrespect. Winning isn’t everything to some people like it is to me I guess."
Klay is currently on pace to return to playing with the Warriors around Christmas after suffering an ACL tear during the 2019 NBA Finals, followed by an Achilles injury before last season started.
