Brandon Cooper, the alleged victim in Pooh Shiesty's shooting case, has been indicted in an elaborate bank fraud scheme with seven others.

Cooper, 28, was indicted along with Instagram model Ana Figueroa, 22, John Anthony Perez, 23; Rene Ripes III, 22; Carlo Luvara Escobar, 26; Clifton Taylor, 33; Edwin Castillo, 23; and Christopher Salermo, 30.

The Miami residents were arrested on Wednesday (October 20), and they have been charged with a bank fraud conspiracy, money laundering, and identity theft. U.S. Homeland Security Investigations agents say the suspects stole checking accounts and routing numbers from corporations and people living in South Florida and Virginia between January and July 2019.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Kurt Lunkenheimer claimed in the indictment that the suspects created fraudulent checks that they forged and deposited into their personal bank accounts. After the checks were cleared, the suspects allegedly withdrew the money before the fraud was discovered by the bank.

The amount stolen wasn't revealed, but according to the Miami Herald, the account transactions and cash withdrawals listed in the indictment are in the tens of thousands.
