Kodak Black reacted to a viral story earlier this week, which involved a 61-year-old Florida man marrying his 18-year-old goddaughter.
Various social media users criticized Michael Haugabook for marrying Deja, who he's known since her infancy. While many expressed outrage and accused the man of grooming his goddaughter despite having a previous relationship with her mother, Kodak Black weighed in on the manner and claimed his father also married his goddaughter.
"SMH my daddy did this same s***," the rapper wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. "Left us to start another family with his goddaughter. I was about 9 but I ain’t judging nobody tho, to each's own. It could b true love."
Since going viral for their marriage, Michael and Deja Haugabook have dismissed the criticism as jealousy. Deja also pointed out that she's 18 and has worked full-time while caring for her four children. It's not confirmed if her children are from a previous relationship or not.
