In this clip, Rooga explained his theory behind why Chicago is marked by so much violence. Rooga says the projects are to blame and the "project mentality" that resulted. According to Rooga, the projects were exactly that, a project. One in which was designed to stunt the social, economic, and political growth of black people. He said the effects are still felt today even after the projects have been torn down.
