A new poll conducted by Morning Consult shows that Kyrie Irving and Ben Simmons have the lowest favorability rankings amongst all of the players in the NBA. This comes amid Simmons being vocal about wanting to be traded by the Philadelphia 76ers, and Kyrie not being able to play due to his refusal to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
According to the Morning Consult poll, "Irving tied with Simmons for last in net favorability and had the highest share of unfavorable responses with 24 percent. That's double the 12 percent who had a negative opinion of him in Morning Consult’s 2018 'Most Loved Entertainers' report."
On the flip side, Warriors superstar Steph Curry topped the list with the highest favorability amongst fans with 57%. Below Curry in second place is Kevin Durant (49%) and LeBron James (48%), followed by Anthony Davis (39%) and Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (37%) rounding out the top five.
