Rapper and cannabis entrepreneur Berner revealed on Oct. 13 that he's been diagnosed with cancer.

The Taylor Gang affiliate took to Instagram and announced that doctors found traces of cancer in a series of blood tests three weeks. Yesterday, Berner received confirmation that he does have cancer and has "a major fight ahead." He announced his plans for the next month include addressing his diagnosis aggressively, spending time with his family, planning the next steps for Cookies, and finishing his upcoming Gotti album.

"I want to focus on a Whole Foods plant based diet and make sure that there is ABSOLUTELY NO STRESS in my life," Berner added. "I love all of you guys so much and feel so blessed to have been able to accomplish half the things I did and really hope to be able to stick around and do a bunch more. With that being said, if you are a friend, there is no reason to text or call, just send that good energy my way and let me get my mind right. I will probably miss a few events and will be back as soon as my mind and body permits."

Berner did not specify the exact type of cancer he's been diagnosed with. The following day, he took to Twitter to thank his supporters for the love and encouragement he received after revealing the medical news.

"I want to thank everyone for the overwhelming amount of love and support, it really helped more [than] you can imagine and gave me the energy and motivation needed to stay Positive in this fight," the rapper wrote. "I am ready to karate kick cancer in the d***, I'm so glad i am not doing this alone!"
