FBG Duck's mother, LaSheena Weekly announced that five people have been arrested by the FBI over one year after her son's murder. In August 2020, FBG Duck was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting in Chicago.
"[The feds] just called me and told me they arrested Muwop, they arrested C-Thang, they arrested...two more, five people they have in custody," Weekly said in a video. "The lil boy who killed himself August the 24th, he was one of the shooters. They shot my son, they just told me that."
The men in custody for the murder of FBG Duck include C-Thang, Muwop, and DQ. Zell, who was one of the accused shooters, recently committed suicide.
FBG Duck was shot in broad daylight outside of a store in the city's Gold Coast neighborhood. Authorities confirmed that two vehicles pulled up before four gunmen exited the cars and started shooting. Three others were injured during the attack.
The rapper, whose real name was Carlton Weekly, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the torso and was pronounced dead at a local hospital. He was 26 years old at the time of his passing.
