LeBron James and Enes Kanter’s jabs at each other over the years always find Kanter speaking directly to James, with the latter usually being unresponsive. Now, Kanter has taken time to call out James for his take on COVID-19 and the NBA.

James previously spoke to reporters and said that he wasn’t going to try and convince anyone to get the vaccine despite recently getting vaccinated. James said, “That’s not my job.” While on CNN during a segment about NBA players getting vaccinated, Kanter spoke on the matter while addressing LeBron.

Kanter said, “When I heard [James’ comments], I was very disappointed and it’s ridiculous.” He went on to say, “LeBron James, he's one of the faces of the league, and he should be the first one to go out there and say, 'Listen, everyone. I got the vaccine, and I'm encouraging everyone, my community, everyone, basketball fans, non-basketball fans and sports fans are just going out there and get this vaccine, so we can save other lives.'”

News of this comes after Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green communicated similar thoughts to James.
