Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” track seems to have been the biggest of his career, but also one that caused him the most trouble. The song found the estate of Marvin Gaye suing Thicke and Pharrell Williams for the song, with Thicke and the star producer having to pay $7.2 million to the estate of Gaye. Now, a report surfaced where model Emily Ratajkowski accused Robin Thicke of groping her while on the set of the “Blurred Lines” video.
Ratajkowski has been gearing up to release her book ‘My Body’ which is set to drop next month. An excerpt of the book has surfaced and finds the model speaking on the situation. The model said, “Suddenly, out of nowhere, I felt the coolness and foreignness of a stranger’s hands cupping my bare breasts from behind. I instinctively moved away, looking back at Robin Thicke.”
Diane Martel, the director of the video, gave her candid thoughts on what she saw. “I remember the moment that he grabbed her breasts,” said Martel. “One in each hand. He was standing behind her as they were both in profile. I screamed in my very aggressive Brooklyn voice, ‘What the f**k are you doing, that’s it!! The shoot is over!!'” The model went on to note the move by Thicke made her feel “the heat of humiliation” as well as “naked for the first time that day.” She then said, “I didn’t react—not really, not like I should have.”
