Freddie Gibbs was the most recent guest on Mike Tyson's "Hotboxin" podcast. During the episode, both men discussed rap beef and boxing's current events. Freddie Gibbs also informed Mike Tyson about Dr. Umar Johnson and his views.
While the two were discussing White women, Freddie Gibbs jokingly said Dr. Umar would be upset at their conversation. When Tyson asked who Umar was, Gibbs explained that he has some cool ideas but doesn't like White people.
"If he has hate, he can't be cool," Tyson responded to which Gibbs agreed. "None of it is cool. Any hate involved, it can't be cool. I don't care if it's dictation, rhymes, they can't be cool."
Gibbs suggested that Tyson invite Dr. Umar on his podcast, causing the former boxing champion to pause and say he'll need to do more research. Gibbs also noted that Dr. Umar doesn't agree with interracial dating, an opinion he made sure to say he doesn't agree with, causing Tyson to ask more questions.
"Who is he?" Tyson asked. "Who is he to have that thought? Who is he to have that opinion and think that it counts?"
Gibbs couldn't provide an answer and told Tyson that he's simply entertained by some of Dr. Umar's rhetoric. Look above to view the rest of the clip.
