The passing of Pop Smoke still lingers for many, and Pop’s presence is still being felt following the release of a posthumous album. However, not many are pleased with the love the late Brooklyn rapper is getting, as news surfaced noting his grave was badly vandalized this past weekend.

Photos that surfaced via TMZ showed the gravesite of the rapper, with the outer wall of the mausoleum on the grounds featuring Pop’s name appearing to be destroyed. The marble plaque with Pop’s name was almost completely broken, and debris like burned joints and flowers were scattered in the area.

Along with that, it was rumored that people who raided the gravesite allegedly tried to get into Pop Smoke’s tomb, and an eyewitness who reported the destroyed site noted the destroyed slab was replaced with a blank one when they got back to the scene. As of now, the family of Pop Smoke hasn’t issued a statement on the matter. Stay tuned for more updates.
