Update 09/09/2021 10:55am:
Memphis Bleek sparked conversation when he told Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson that Nas didn't stand a chance against Jay-Z in a Verzuz battle. Memphis Bleek stated, "Nas don't have enough songs to compete. And it's no disrespect to him, he just don't -- like, he just don't. Jay can battle somebody with just his B-side concert catalog and it'll still be better than some people's A-side."
During his sit-down, Memphis Bleek revealed that Biggie would be the only person who could go one-on-one with Jay-Z. He explained, "It would have to be somebody like Big. That was his only competition that I’ve ever seen that he even felt that was competition. And he knew when they went and did ‘Brooklyn’s Finest.’ Like, Jay knew that I had to go in the studio with the best-best of me ever because I’m rhymin’ with one of the best from Brooklyn. I’m not gonna let this dude dog walk me on my own record."
Cormega chimed in on the conversation on Instagram, where he wrote, I like Bleek but I’ve never felt compelled to say 'nah he tweaking' until this moment. Jay is great. Nas is great. Let them be great."

Memphis Bleek was recently a guest on sportswriter and media personality Brandon "Scoop B" Robinson's podcast and was asked about a hypothetical Verzuz challenge between former rap rivals Jay-Z and Nas. While it wasn't surprising that Memphis Bleek sided with his friend, Jay-Z, he claimed there would be "no comparison" if Nas took the challenge.
"Nas don't have enough songs to compete," Memphis Bleek claimed. "And it's no disrespect to him, he just don't -- like, he just don't. Jay can battle somebody with just his B-side concert catalog and it'll still be better than some people's A-side."
Scoop B followed up Bleek's statement by asking who would be a worthy opponent for Hov. Bleek responded by saying Biggie would have been worthy of sharing the Verzuz platform with Jay-Z and added that Biggie was Jigga's only competition.
"[BIG] was his only competition that I ever seen -- that he even felt was competition," he responded.
