Lil Yachty recently revealed in a Twitch video that he is the reason Kid Cudi is on "Moon," a track on Kanye's latest release, Donda.
Yachty told viewers, "I’ll tell y’all a true story. I was on TikTok, right? When the first listening party happened, they took the excerpt from 'Moon' and they played it. Me and everyone in the comments was like, ‘Damn, man! Kid Cudi would sound great on this!’"
Yachty then explained that he contacted Vory, who collaborated with Kanye on several songs, and told him that he thought Kid Cudi would be a great addition to "Moon" after hearing the first cut. In the next listening party, Kid Cudi was added to the song, and Lil Yachty stated, "Y’all can thank me."
