Rapper Bandman Fari was reportedly arrested in Dallas Labor Day morning over the death of rap peer and friend Woadie2live. While police have yet to confirm the alleged victim, multiple reports claim the arrest was caused by Woadie2live's murder.
Woadie2live, whose real name was Tylynn Dawayne Payton Walter, was reportedly shot and killed outside of the 5 AM Club in Dallas. When the police arrived on the scene, the 21-year-old was found on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck. Woadie2live was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead
On Sunday, Woadie2live received multiple social media tributes from industry professionals and peers, such as Asian Doll.
"Man my heart can't take no more I'm lost for words I don't know what to say," Asian Doll wrote while posting several photos with the late rapper. "My brother really gone man."
As a result of their investigation, the police determined 23-year-old Bandman Fari was responsible for the murder and was arrested and transported to Dallas County Jail. Bandman Fari, whose real name is Bailey Phillips, has been charged with murder and is being held on a $250,000 bond.
