Previously, reports surfaced noting that Ben Simmons ghosted the Philadelphia Sixers. From there, Simmons reportedly told the Sixers he wants to traded and would be skipping training camp. Now, reports are saying that Simmons could be fined up to $1.3 million for skipping out.

Doc Rivers previously made comments about Simmons when asked if he thought the point guard could be the head of a championship-winning team. Now, Simmons has allegedly used that as fuel to the fire to leave the organization.

ESPN reporter Brian Windhorst noted that Simmons’ camp is “prepared for that ramification” of paying millions if the Sixers issue a fine. As of now, Simmons has four years and $147 million remaining on his deal with Philadelphia.
