"The Wire" Actor Michael K. Williams Discovered Dead in Brooklyn Apartment

Actor Michael K. Williams was found dead in his Brooklyn apartment by his nephew Monday afternoon.

It's suggested that the actor's death may have been caused by a drug overdose as drug paraphernalia was found at his home.

The actor was most notable for playing Omar Little in The Wire and Chalky White in Boardwalk Empire. Michael K. Williams starred in over 60 films and nearly 40 television during his career.

Michael K. Williams was 54 years old at the time of his death.
