After being released by the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tim Tebow will be joining a different team off the field. According to reports, Tebow is slated to be one of Stephen A. Smith's First Take foes after the exit of Max Kellerman earlier this week.

Tebow will be facing off against Smith during football season to debate the pressing topics around the league. ESPN also announced that other personalities such as Mina Kimes and Kendrick Perkins would be part of the First Take rotation.

The 34-year-old former Heisman Trophy winner worked for the network as a college football analyst before attempting to make the Jaguars' roster as a tight end.

Smith will face off against Tebow on Fridays and Hall of Fame receiver Michael Irvin on Mondays, with other guest debaters rotated throughout the week. The new First Take format is scheduled to debut on Monday, Sept 6.
