Update 08/25/2021 1:31pm:

Shyheim and Wu-Tang Clan affiliates Killa Beez, Sunz of Man, and Killarmy went on the offensive yesterday after N.O.R.E. referred to them as "flunkies" on last week's episode of "Drink Champs."

In addition to the crew calling out N.O.R.E. and his music catalog, Shyheim issued a video response and tagged Mickey Factz who was a guest on the episode and was seen laughing at N.O.R.E.'s remarks. While co-host DJ EFN commented on Shyheim's post and was apologetic, a statement was posted on the "Drink Champs" Instagram account letting fans know the misunderstanding would be addressed on the next episode.

"Drink Champs gets together Friday at which point we will address the misunderstanding concerning the Wu affiliates," the statement read. "We won't let any media source, blogger or social media turn this into something it's not! #drinkchamps #positiveenergy #wegiveflowers."

Mickey Factz posted his own response and apologized to the Wu-Tang affiliates. During his apology, the rapper offered context as to why Shyheim and others were mentioned in the conversation. He also admitted that laughing at N.O.R.E.'s comments didn't look good.

"I just want to give an apology to all of the Wu-Tang members and anyone who's affiliated with them as well as their supporters and their fans," he said. "That was definitely out of line, it was out of pocket and there’s really no excuse for that."

Mickey Factz also revealed in a subsequent post that he had a Zoom conversation with Killarmy and Sunz of Man and settled any difference the two sides might have had.

"Had a conversation with some members of Killaarmy & Sunz of Man before my statement," his caption read. "As black men, I apologized, we put it behind us and then laughed it off. Handled everything behind the scenes before going public. This is behind me now and we back to providing quality lyricism and entertainment! Love."

Shyheim fired back at N.O.R.E. after the "Drink Champs" referred to him and other Wu-Tang Clan affiliates Killa Beez, Sunz of Man, and Killarmy as "flunkies."

During last week's episode with Mickey Factz, Blu, and Asher Roth, N.O.R.E. talked about someone having to apologize to Sunz of Man before adding, "You know, the flunky. You know, the n***** that don't even exist. They was like, '[Shyheim is] after him too.'"

While the N.O.R.E. and co-host DJ EFN shared a laugh with their guests, Shyheim reposted the clip on Instagram and spoke out against the remarks.

"FOH F*** you talking bout We the true and living 7 @therealnoreaga," Shyheim wrote while tagging the "Drink Champs" hosts, Wu-Tang Clan, Mickey Factz, Killarmy founder 9thprince, and Timbo King.

In an accompanying video post, Shyheim added, "N***** get drunk and run they mouth, and don't know what you talkin' about. I ain't never been nobody's flunky or non-existent. I'm the true and living god. I'm in present time, n****. F*** outta here. Flunky n**** I'm Shyheim, n****...and my albums is better than your albums, n****. F*** outta here. Go against my Killa Beez then, n****. N***** always trying to separate the W, like the Clan was the only people that put on for the Ws. Sonz of Man, Killarmy, Shyheim, Royal Fam, Wu Syndicate, La the Darkman, we put on too for the W."

While N.O.R.E. has not responded to Shyheim, DJ EFN commented on the post and took back what was said about the Wu-Tang affiliates being flunkies. He also expressed his desire to have Shyheim and the other artists mentioned on a future episode of the "Drink Champs."

"I got mad respect for all the wu affiliates including you which is why I even mentioned your name," DJ EFN wrote. "I know it came off foul by that word being used but y'all most definitely not flunkys. Much respect and hope to have y'all at the @drinkchamps table."
