2Pac is one of the most notable artists signed to Death Row Records, but the late artist was nearly at odds with the records label years prior.Digital Underground member Money B recently 2Pac was almost involved in an alleged altercation between Warren G and Eazy-E, which was a result of Death Row's beef with Ruthless Records.

Money B noted that 2Pac became friends with Eazy-E because Digital Underground shared the same tour manager as NWA. He claimed he was on an elevator with Eazy and 2Pac when Warren G and Death Row affiliates appeared. The rapper said an argument started and resulted in guns being pulled out.

"Yeah, it was some s***. We was in the elevator and then -- I think it was Warren G or somebody," Money B said. "But him and Eazy had some words but we were with Above The Law getting ready to go perform the song we did with them. And then it was some words back and forth and cats was about to pull out guns."

He added that no shots were fired despite guns being drawn. However, Money B claimed 2Pac was acting too involved and close to the situation despite having no ties to Ruthless Records or Death Row at the time. The Digital Underground member said he successfully encouraged 2Pac to remain neutral during the altercation because the Ruthless & Death Row feud had nothing to do with their camp.

"From my perspective, it was an Eazy-E / Death Row beef and Pac was acting as if he wanted to interject himself into that situation and I'm like, 'We need to stay out of that because we don't nothing about what's going on,'" he continued.

Money B said they all ended up doing the show and the altercation didn't escalate into violence. Throughout the rest of the above clip, Money B spoke about recording "I Get Around" and knowing it would be the hit to propel 2Pac into superstardom.
