YK Osiris previously was wrapped up in an incident where he was accused of allegedly choking his girlfriend in September 2019 while at a party. Now it has been noted that the prosecutors in the matter are declining to file charges against the artist.
The alleged incident that went down in September 2019 found the woman coming at the rapper after reportedly seeing a woman in nothing but a towel in YK’s phone. The police report in the matter found the girlfriend of the artist saying he choked her and bit her face. As a result, YK Osiris was hit with a felony charge for aggravated assault by strangulation.
Now, legal documents that surfaced noted the Fulton County District Attorney’s office has passed on prosecuting the artist. The D.A.’s office said even though Atlanta PD had probable cause to arrest YK in November 2019, they declined prosecution. As of now, no reason has been given as to why the prosecution didn’t continue with charges. YK Osiris reportedly has maintained his innocence in the matter since the news surfaced in 2019.
