R&B singer Nivea sparked a social media feud with a man she claimed she was romantically involved with despite him being in a relationship with another woman. In a series of Instagram Story posts, Nivea called out the man, identified as Darrell Patterson, and claimed he "pimped" her.
"Yep I messed someone else's so called 'man' and he pimped thee S*** outta me!" wrote Nivea. "Time to be exposed @iamtherealdp & @thesocialmisfit leeeesss GOOOOOO B******! Aaaaand I KNOW I'm not the ONLY one!! I'm taking the Lead on this Bill Cosby train! Idgaf if you don't n****. Aye if you know ANYTHING about a March Aries bruh, then you should know rt now ain't the time to call me! I don't wanna talk! I am HURT AF, give me time to heal but your concerns are appreciated."
Patterson responded to Nivea's posts in his Instagram Story and claimed the singer needed help. He also stated that Nivea knew about his relationship and that he had no intention of leaving his girlfriend.
"I feel sad for people who don't know when they need help," he responded. Sometimes trying to help some one and talk life and uplift someone can be easily taken the wrong way! I've apologized if anything was mistaken for an interest. but for you to come over to my house knowing your intentions and when those attentions don't get met then what? Am I now the bad guy because I don't express the same interest you have? So yes you tried to mess with other women's men! Thanks for being honest! But please don't act like you didn't know I had a gf and wasn't leaving her, that's some delusional thinking of well could be some other sort of response to something you can't stop doing to save your lift! But DONT COME FOR ME AND MINE!"
After Patterson's response, Nivea posted multiple text conversations between the two, explaining, "I'm posting this cause the n**** tryna act like he wasn't interested." Nivea ended her series of posts by warning women about becoming romantically involved with men who are already in a relationship. Patterson did not respond to Nivea's leaked text messages.
