A Friday (August 13) report from the New York Times confirmed that Bobby Shmurda has signed a management deal with Roc Nation.

Mike Brinkley, the senior vice president of Roc Nation’s artist management team, spoke to the Times about his first impressions of Bobby. He explained, "He’ll ask questions and not just ask but actually comprehend. Meeting him for the first time, you can’t even fathom what he went through because he doesn’t wear it. He’s like, ‘I’m here to work, what do you need me to do?’”

There were also reports about Bobby's highly anticipated upcoming album, and rumors that he's working with DaBaby, Migos and Swae Lee on the project. There's no date on when the album will be released.
