Murdock and 12 O'Clock, rappers known for their affiliation with Wu-Tang via their group Brooklyn Zu with their cousin ODB, were reportedly killed in a shooting in Portland, Oregon.
12 O'Clock's son, Divine Turner, confirmed the news on his Instagram Stories after posting a video where he stated, "I’m out of town on business and found out they just murdered my father. I don’t know what to do." He captioned the post, "Sad day for me. They assassinated my father in #Oregon."
ODB's son, Young Dirty Bastard also confirmed the news on Instagram, writing, "Rip To My Older Cousins. Rip 12 ‘O Clock. Rip Murdock. They Were My Fathers Tightest blood Bonds. My Two Older Cousins Was just assassinated. Love Yalllllll. Blood Forever. Brooklyn Zu."
According to a report from Portland's NBC affiliate, a shooting on the city's Northeast side happened around 5:20 am on Tuesday (August 10). Three people were taken to the hospital after being shot, while Murdock and 12 O'Clock were the only people who were fatally shot. Two women were injured, one was grazed in the head and received stitches, while the other was shot near her wrist. The daughter of the woman shot in the arm said she's unsure if her mother will lose her arm.
No further information is known about the third person injured in the incident. No arrests have been made so far, but we'll be sure to update you as more information is available.
