A 22-year-old freelance photographer was brutally beaten and robbed while visiting Seattle in July.
Identifying himself as Caliber Visuals, the victim took a trip to Seattle for a "mental break" after going through physical therapy stemming from an earlier car accident. While he was walking to meet a friend, surveillance footage captured the moment he was robbed after being knocked unconscious.
The video footage shows the suspect approach Caliber in a friendly manner before taking him down and repeatedly kicking him in the head until he's motionless. The suspect then reaches into Caliber's pockets and steals several items, including an iPhone 12, at least $900, Caliber's wallet and debit cards, and car keys that cost $700 to replace, before walking away.
Caliber was rushed to the hospital after his friends discovered him. He reportedly suffered a fractured eye and brain bleeding. He added that he was still suffering severe headaches and spitting up blood days after the attack. The photographer also launched a GoFundMe to help with his mounting medical costs. As of writing, he's raised $16,000 of his $10,000 goal.
Police are still searching for the suspect who attacked Caliber. The suspect has been described as a Black male, 5'10", 180 pounds, with a medium build.
