The Department of Justice indicted nine individuals Wednesday, accusing the group of running an interstate gun trafficking operation. The indictment alleges that the defendants used a Georgia resident to purchase at least 87 firearms, some of which appeared in Blixky Gang music videos.

According to the indictment, DuVaughn Wilson made 30 transactions on the other defendants' behalf between August 2020 and April 2021. The purchased guns were then illegally resold with some of the weapons allegedly appearing in Blixky Gang videos, such as the "Word To Folk" video by Saint Laurent Sour and Tay 627. Law enforcement was reportedly able to recover 18 of the firearms Wilson purchased

The defendants who have been indicted include: James Thomas (a.k.a. Spazz), DuVaughn Wilson (a.k.a. Dupree), Courtney Schloss (a.k.a. Bway/Balenci), Ken Alexander (a.k.a. Ryu), Argam Taj (a.k.a. Sour), Samuel Taj (a.k.a. Sosa), Christopher Machado (a.k.a. Chris Elite), Harlie Ramos (a.k.a. White Girl), and Jamel Thomas (a.k.a. Mel).

All nine defendants have been charged with conspiracy to commit gun trafficking and gun trafficking -- both charges carry a maximum five-year sentence. James Thomas, DuVaughn Wilson, and Courtney Schloss have also been charged with interstate travel with intent to engage in gun trafficking, which carries a maximum of 10 years in prison.
