DaBaby recently made comments during his Rolling Loud Miami set that were deemed homophobic and caused much backlash. The rapper responded by trying to address the comments, which only made the matter worse. From there, the rapper was dropped from the Parklife Festival line-up. Now, Lollapalooza has been in motion, and it seems the festival has revealed they aren’t here for DaBaby’s comments either. As a result, the festival issued a statement noting DaBaby would not be performing.
The statement from the festival said, “Lollapalooza was founded on diversity, inclusivity, respect, and love. With that in mind, DaBaby will no longer be performing at Grant Park tonight. Young Thug’s performance will now take place at 9:00 PM on the Bud Light Seltzer Stage, and G Herbo will perform at 4:00 PM on the T-Mobile Stage.”
DaBaby was scheduled to perform tonite at 9 PM as the final act for the festival but got swapped out due to his comments. Along with getting removed from festival line-ups, the rapper’s new song with Dua Lipa has been taken off multiple playlists. Take a look above.
