In January 2020, former G-Unit rapper Young Buck reportedly filed for bankruptcy. Now, the rapper is being sued for allegedly not turning over his ASCAP royalties from music to settle debts.

The rapper filed Chapter 13 bankruptcy in January 2020, with documents nothing that he told the court he was making $4,450 a month while his bills for the month totaled up to $1,490. It was reportedly by Radar Online that the rapper’s assets totaled “$5,761 with liabilities totaling $48,316.20.” They noted Buck reportedly owes over $45,000 in child support along with the $1,250 “in taxes and other debts.”

Court documents broke down where Buck is financially, noting he was using his girlfriend’s car as transportation at the time of the filing. The rapper’s assets include clothes worth about $100, household furniture worth about $360, and only $100 worth of jewelry.

A judge in the case appointed a trustee to Buck to look at the rapper’s finances and see the best way to pay back creditors, which include 50 Cent. Buck agreed but failed to do his part, according to the trustee. The trustee claims the rapper got a check from ASCAP that could be worth $35,000 and did not hand it over. Because of that, the suit filed is asking Young Buck to hand over the money he was paid to resolve his debt. Young Buck has not responded as of yet.
