Previously, Tory Lanez went on Funk Flex’s show on Hot 97 and delivered a freestyle where he rhymed over Cassidy’s “I’m a Hustla,” and Cassidy took to the internet to call out Lanez for mimicking his flow and not giving credit. Lanez responded by saying, “S**t is sad how u old n***as be mad at the young n***as for not showing love then when we do.. we get responses like this.” Now, Cassidy has fired back with more words.
Cassidy recently made an appearance on the ‘Hip Hop Uncensored’ podcast, where he addressed Lanez again. The Philadelphia rapper said, “I feel disrespected that he feel like just because he [an] artist with some songs out, that him rappin' to my beat is like, I should feel privileged. Like I should feel like he doin' something for me, like I should feel grateful. F**k outta here. N***as been rappin' to my beats. I been doin' this s**t way before you came around. I don't give a f**k about you rappin' to my beat... Pay homage for real, n***a. Pay homage for real."
Cassidy didn’t stop there, as he continued saying rapping over his beats isn’t an issue, but he does “give a sh*t about n***as stealing my s**t, running with my s**t, not giving me the credit." Cassidy pointed out that if he didn’t say anything about Lanez using his flow, “the majority of people that heard that freestyle wouldn't have even knew he took my s**t.” Watch above.

Tory Lanez recently stopped by Hot 97, where he spit a five-minute freestyle over Cassidy’s classic "I'm a Hustla." Cassidy caught wind of the clip, and he accused Tory of stealing his flow, writing on Instagram, "I'm @torylanez favorite rapper #RNS Ain't no denying that. #GoatGang. Show me the respect I deserve & #LetsGetToThisChicken #BARSisBack #DaEnergy."
Tory responded to Cassidy by commenting on his post, "U are one of my favorite rappers Cass ….. what's the problem?" Tory added, "I guess this is what happens when u try to pay homage ….. the first freestyle I shouted ya name out becuz u did inspire me. The second one I went on YOUR beat. Sh*t is sad how U old n***as be mad at the young n***as for not showing love then when we do … we get responses like this."
