Ronnie Oneal went viral for his outbursts during his murder trial as he represented himself. Needless to say, his defense strategy proved ineffective, and he went before a Hillsborough County judge to receive his sentence.

The judge ended up handing down three life terms plus 60 years in prison to run consecutively for the murder of his girlfriend and their disabled daughter and the attempted murder of his son. Put simpler; he will spend the rest of his life in prison with no chance of parole.

While addressing the court one final time, Oneal said “I am not sorry for something I didn’t do and I am not sorry for the things I did do.” This prompted Judge Michele Sisco to shut him down before Oneal became a further spectacle by threatening to have him removed from the court.

“It took every ounce I had not to start sobbing to because there is no way any person with any feeling could have witnessed or seen the photos of what occurred that night and not be haunted for the rest of your life,” Sisco said. “For the rest of my life I’ll be haunted by what I saw as far as the evidence.”
