According to reports, former teammates DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry are looking to team up again as the two veterans enter unrestricted free agency. However, it doesn't appear that the reunion will take place in Toronto, according to Broderick Turner's LA Times report, which claims the two are looking at the Los Angeles Lakers as their desired destination.

The Lakers were reportedly interested in both players leading up to last year's trade deadline but decided against making a trade for either player. If both DeRozan and Lowry are willing to take pay cuts in favor of competing for a championship, they can provide the Lakers with upgrades at two key positions at point guard and on the wing.

At the moment, the players that remain under contract are LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Kyle Kuzma, Marc Gasol, and Alfonzo McKinnie.
