A Colorado man was convicted for the 2012 murder of his 13-year-old son after the teen found compromising photos of his dad.
Dylan Redwine went missing nearly a decade after discovering photos of his dad, Mark Redwine, wearing lingerie and eating feces. Dylan was forced to visit his dad for Thanksgiving in 2012 and decided to confront the man about the pics.
“I have seen the photos,” Dylan’s older brother Cory said in 2017. “It shows him wearing women’s clothes and makeup and a diaper and then eating his feces from the diaper. It was disgusting. We couldn’t believe it.”
According to prosecutors, Mark killed his son in a fit of rage by blunt force to the head and hid his body in the woods 10 miles away from his home.
Mark was convicted of second-degree murder and child abuse. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 8 and is facing a possible 48-year prison term.
