Dallas police arrested one of their own after an underaged girl accused a 12-year Dallas Police Department veteran of sexually assaulting her after she went to him for help.

The accuser claimed she went to the home of Tyrone Lee Williams Jr. after she had an argument with her family. Williams was reportedly a friend of the family and allowed her to stay the night at his home.

She claimed that Williams started touching her thighs as she was sleep. When she woke up and asked what he was doing, he replied with a shushing motion. After going back to sleep, she woke up again to find him rubbing himself on top of her. She managed to escape and lock herself in a bathroom.

After a later argument with her parents, her mother suggested she return to Williams' home but she rejected the suggestion before going to her boyfriend's mother's apartment. While at the residence, she revealed what Williams allegedly did.

Once the alleged victim reported the incident to police, she was taken to the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center while Williams was arrested and booked before being released the same day on a $25,000 bail. Williams is currently on administrative leave and an investigation is ongoing.
