The son of retired NFL nose tackle Vince Wilfork was arrested and charged with stealing over $300,000 worth of jewelry from his father.

D'Aundre Holmes-Wilfork is accused of selling the stolen items, which include his father's two Super Bowl rings with the New England Patriots. Nearly two weeks before his son's arrest, Vince reported that he was missing several items, including the two Super Bowl rings, two AFC championship rings, his National Championship ring he won with the Miami Hurricanes, and expensive necklaces, bracelets, and earrings.

Vince realized the items were missing while moving over a year ago but assumed they were packed away or in storage. However, after a Patriots fan informed him that someone was selling his championship rings, Vince contacted the seller who claimed he purchased the rings from his 23-year-old son for $62,000.

The rings were returned after they were reported stolen and D'Aundre was arrested and charged with theft of property greater than $300,000. D'Aundre's bond was set at $300,000 but was no longer listed in custody as of Tuesday morning.

Vince Wilfork spent 13 years in the NFL and played for the New England Patriots and the Houston Texans. He was named to five Pro Bowls before retiring in 2017.
