According to reports, a Houston-area man was shot 7 times while fending off an armed robbery in a fast-food restaurant parking lot.
The video picks up with the victim getting something out of his trunk when an armed man hopped out of an adjacent vehicle and demanded his property. The man, whose identity hasn't been disclosed, told police that he refused to hand over his belongings and was shot as a result. He attempted to reach for his weapon early on, but was shot once in the chest, four times in the left leg, once in his right leg, and once in his hand.
Authorities say the suspect managed to flee the scene. What's more, ballistics exams have determined that the gun was linked to at least one other aggravated robbery case.
