2 Pac’s legacy is a complex and storied one, as the prolific rapper and activist made it a point to speak on injustices against Black people, poor people, and everyone in between who faced some form of hardship or discrimination. Now, the official shop for the late rapper has revealed a new “Pride Collection,” which is a show of solidarity with the LGBTQ community.

The collection features various pieces that give their take on Tupac’s popular song “Changes,” featuring RL of Next. The colors on the t-shirts and hoodies feature various shades that make up a rainbow, which is synonymous with the LGBTQ community. The colors are typically flown on their flag.

Despite the show of solidarity, many have taken to Twitter to respond to the new collection, with one Twitter user even going as far as saying the brand is “disrespecting his name and legacy.”

The proceeds from the Pride collection will go to True Colors United, an organization that “implements innovative solutions to youth homelessness that focus on the unique experiences of LGBTQ young people.” Along with that, the proceeds will also go to the Marsha P. Johnson Institute. Take a look at the collection above.
