According to reports, Polo G was arrested in Miami and booked into Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on Saturday. The Chicago rapper faces several charges, including battery on a police officer, resisting arrest with violence, and criminal mischief.
Miami authorities tweeted that they are “aware of the incident involving Mr. Taurus Bartlett, also known as Polo G, and another male juvenile. We will provide updates as they become available.”
Polo G’s mother and manager, Stacia Mac, hopped on IG Live during the arrest and said Polo G was pulled over alongside his younger brother after an album release party. In the video, Stacia Mac says Miami police have “made it difficult for her to check on her children.”
