According to reports, a Florida man was recently arrested after paying a homeless man $100 to attack his girlfriend. Authorities say the man even visited his girlfriend while she lay in the hospital following the assault.
Orlando police arrested Alexis Colon Colon, 35, for his connection to his girlfriend's attack last month when she was cut in the face while exiting her vehicle. Authorities have not disclosed the woman's identity but said she and Colon Colon have a child together.
Police released the arrest affidavit on Friday and revealed that Colon Colon stalked his girlfriend and paid the homeless man $100 to carry out the knife attack. When police arrived at the hospital, they found Colon Colon there with the victim.
When the victim was able to talk privately with authorities, she said she discovered a GPS tracker planted on her car two weeks before the attack. What's more, she told police that there were several episodes of domestic violence, both documented and undocumented.
He is being held without bond at the Orange County Jail on charges that criminal attempted felony and burglary with a deadly weapon.
