Kid Rock addressed video footage of him yelling a homophobic slur during an appearance at a Tennessee bar. However, the music artist didn't issue an apology but instead doubled down by continuing to use the same phrase.

In response to the backlash, Kid Rock called out his critics on Twitter. Crediting his tweet to his real name, Bob Ritchie, he continued to use the word that caused the backlash in the first place.

"If Kid Rock using the word f***** offends you, good chance you are one," he wrote. "Either way, I know he has a lot of love for his gay friends and I will have a talk with him. Have a nice day."

His response comes after video footage captured him yelling the slur while calling out patrons who disregarded security's instructions to put their phones away during his performance earlier this week.
