Coi Leray expressed her frustration this past weekend after a clip of her performance in Houston went viral. In the clip, an arena crowd is seen standing motionless and silent as Leray performed at H-Town Memorial Day Mayhem.

In a series of Twitter posts, Coi Leray admitted that the hate that's come along with her newfound fame has started to weigh heavy on her and make her feel defeated.

"Y'all haters are in my life for a reason, we gon have to just deal with eachother. [I'm] with whatever smoke," she wrote. "Feel like y'all tryna kill me. The love use to outweigh the hate but now the hate outweigh the love and it's slowing destroying me."

After her comments, a number of rap peers publicly offered their support. While Polo G, Asian Doll, and Rubi Rose were a few artists who reached out to Coi Leray, but it was Nicki Minaj's support that reversed her outlook.

"Don't do that. Chin up. Always remember this, when black ppl not fkn w|you #TheyWillBoo," Minaj tweeted. "Those ppl were on their feet. That means they may not have known the song, but they were interested in getting to know more — so they were observing u. Charge it to the game & move on."

Nicki Minaj's advice uplifted Coi Leray as she later tweeted, "My weekend went from wtf to the best weekend ever. Thank you Nicki. Thank you so much for this. This means everything and more to me. Wow. I'm speechless. You just gave me so much more hope. Thank you again."
