Swizz Beatz recently sat down with DJ Quick Silva and Dominique Da Diva, where he cleared up any confusion over Bow Wow and Soulja Boy's Verzuz battle, which he says is "99%" confirmed.
Swizz explained, "We ain’t get into the date yet; they got excited, which I’m happy [about]. I love to see when people get excited and it’s organic. Everything don’t have to be formal all the time, you know? So, we’re gonna roll out a whole calendar that’s gonna show you the next five-plus Verzuz."
This comes after Bow Wow drew some confusion over the battle actually happening when he tweeted on Wednesday (May 26), "Ain’t talking [Verzuz] until I see some contracts. FACTS… Back to regular scheduling program." Swizz responded to the tweet, writing, "Knock it off King!!!!!!!"
After The Shade Room reposted Bow Wow's tweet, Swizz responded with several laughing 😂 emojis, and Soulja Boy added that "Somebody scared 😂."
Bow Wow later added on Twitter, "Until [it’s] 100% confirmed [I’ll] get excited. Are they trying to get it done? Yes. Is it done right now? No. Politics… everybody [knows] this the [Verzuz] battle they wanna see. But until then… [I’m] bout to focus on wrestling and getting ready to release Fast 9."
