Rapper Mulatto has officially changed her name to "Latto," which was revealed when it was changed across all streaming platforms. She also teased a new single on Instagram, which is tentatively titled "The Biggest," and the album cover simply says "Latto."

Latto previewed the song last week, as she rapped over a Supah Mario beat, "The blogs wanna know who I’m fu****n. Rap b*****s ain’t talking ’bout nothing. F**k it. I’ll change my name, but I’ll bet they still gonna find something. Y’all ain’t bully me out my s**t. Drop hits I still ain’t miss. New money, new crib, new whip, new name, I’m still that b***h."

While she has seen major success over the past couple of years, 22-year-old has been widely criticized for her name, which many believe is offensive and antiquated. She addressed the controversy surrounding her name during a November interview with HipHopDX, where she stated, "I can’t say too much because we’re working on something right now, but I would be lying to say it hasn’t crossed my mind before.

"It is a controversy that I hear and see every day as far as my name goes, so I would be lying to say no I never thought of that. But I can’t say too much because right now, because it’s going to be a part of something bigger."
