According to reports, a North Carolina man is facing several charges after allegedly setting a woman on fire after dousing her in flammable liquid during a domestic dispute.
Jeremy Scott Wiggins was arrested on May 2 for the attack and held on a $500K bond. Deputies were called to the residence around 4:03 AM but when they arrived Wiggins had already fled the scene. He was formally charged with the following:
Assault w/ Deadly Weapon w/ Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury
Malicious Use of Explosive / Incendiary Causing Serious Injury
Malicious Use of Explosive / Incendiary Causing Property Damage
Set Fire to / Burn and Cause Burn Personal Property
