He also explained that since UFC bought out most of their competition, fighters are forced to join the company at some point despite the long road to securing a major payday. In contrast, boxing has multiple leagues and promotions which offer more financial opportunities for professional and amateur fighters. Adam22 expressed his belief that more celebrity fights will emerge but felt the trend would have exploded much sooner if the Chris Brown and Soulja Boy fight actually happened.
