An Uber driver in Florida was attacked by one of his riders on April 17, and the scary incident was caught on video.
The driver, Michael Hassey Jr., says he was called to pick up Michele Stilwell, 55, by her daughter, and Hassey says she slept most of the ride. However, she woke up and started screaming "My daughter, my daughter!" Hassey says Stilwell then strangled and clawed him from behind before biting a chunk out of his neck. Stillwell can also be seen on video choking Hassey and screaming "Die!"
Hassey told local news station WFLA, "I’ve never been that scared in my whole entire life, I thought I was going to die."
Stilwell's husband, Rob, said she does not remember anything about the incident or why she attacked Hassey. Uber stated that they have removed her from their rideshare company's app, but Hassey says he feels like Uber isn't doing anything to help him after the horrifying incident.
