Former Bad Boy artist Black Rob passed away at 51-years-old last weekend, causing a mix of reactions. A week prior to his death, the late rapper appeared physically ill while revealing he was homeless. While most mourned the rapper's death, others questioned Diddy and what he could have to help the rapper.

Some defended Diddy and revealed that the mogul did reach out to Black Rob prior to his death and has offered to cover the rapper's funeral expenses. However, while appearing on the Murder Master Music Show, Black Rob's manager Kal Dawson says Diddy's help came too late.

"Through somebody else that was affiliated with Rob, Diddy reached out and was gonna do something for Rob, this is when the video first went up of him in the hospital," Dawson said. "People were dragging their feet and nothing got done. So now you gonna pay for his funeral, he dead and gone now! Everybody wanna do something for you when you dead and gone!"

Dawson admitted that he didn't know if Rob denied or accepted Diddy's offer to help him out but stood firm on his belief that Black Rob shouldn't have ended up in such poor health or financial status.

"Rob shouldn't have been in the position that he was in," he continued. "I'm not saying that someone is obligated to do something for him because he's not but if this was your friend and this guy got you rich and you had good times together, help him out...What's the problem to help him out a little bit?"

Black Rob died from kidney failure and cardiac arrest. The late rapper's funeral is scheduled for Friday, April 30, in Harlem.
