Verzuz satisfied many who were celebrating 420, by delivering a full performance from Method Man and Redman.

The legendary duo brought out many surprise guests and performed classic and unreleased material. Red and Meth especially satisfied loyal fans by performing some of their deep cuts, one of them being their guest feature on 2Pac's "Got My Mind Made Up."

After delivering their verses from the All Eyez On Me track, the pair explained the record's origins and revealed it wasn't supposed to be a 2Pac track. Casual fans also learned that the final version of the track omitted a verse from one of Method Man's Wu-Tang peers.

"Everybody asks us about that record," Redman said. "They say, 'Yo Red and Meth, was y'all in the studio with 2Pac when y'all did that?' I was like, 'Noooo!' That was supposed to be a Daz and Kurupt song for their joint, Tha Dogg Pound. 2Pac came home out of jail and he went to Death Row and he said, 'I want everything fresh. I want all new beats. I want everything.' And he took a gang of s*** from Daz plus with our verses on it. Shout out to my brother Inspectah Deck, that they cut the verse on. I was mad about that."

Immediately after Redman's statement, Method Man gave a simple explanation as to why Inspectah Deck's verse was cut and said, "Because he murdered that s***, but you can find it on the YouTubes."
