In this clip, Ricky Williams opened up about returning to the NFL in 2005, just one year after retiring. He explained that he thought he was never returning to the U.S., let alone the NFL, when he left, but after some meditation and soul seeking, Ricky realized he needed to go back and clean up his reputation. He then addressed reports that he had to pay back his $8 million signing bonus, which he says the Dolphins dropped when he came back to the team. Ricky also spoke about finally feeling like he could be himself when he returned to the NFL, which you can hear more about above.
