Scottie Pippen took to Instagram to announce that his oldest son, Antron, has passed away tragically at 33.
Pippen shared photos of Antron along with the message, "I’m heartbroken to share that yesterday, I said goodbye to my firstborn son Antron. The two of us shared a love for basketball and we had countless conversations about the game."
Scottie added that Antron suffered from chronic asthma, which he thinks held his son back from a chance in the NBA. Despite his health issues, Scottie stated that Antron "stayed positive and worked hard, and I am so proud of the man that he became." You can read his full message above.
