A public memorial for DMX will be held at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Saturday, April 24, the rapper's former manager confirmed to TMZ.

Limited capacity will be enforced due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but final logistics are still being figured in terms of ticketing and how many people will be allowed inside.

Mike Spano, the mayor of Yonkers, was open to using Yonkers Raceway as a venue for the memorial service but the venue where X had one of his final major shows was chosen instead. Spano added that there are still plans to honor DMX with a statue or street name.

I private funeral service for DMX's close friends and family will be held at an NYC church on Sunday, April 25.
