In this clip, Ricky Williams spoke about suffering a high ankle sprain during his first NFL game his rookie year with the Saints, and then getting a rocky start to meeting incoming coach Jim Haslett. After coming back from his injury, Ricky spoke about averaging 100 yards a game, and on his thousandth yard, he broke his ankle. Ricky recalls "bawlling" when the doctor gave him the news, and he stated that he realized he couldn't put all of his options into playing football. Ricky Williams opened up about going to the Dolphins in 2002 and having an incredible year, but not being upset about the trade because he realized before that football wasn't his whole life anymore. Ricky then explained that he felt like he loved traveling more than football, and in 2004 he retired from the NFL.
